フィリピンの代表的な音楽アワード「Awit Awards / アウィット・アワード」

The Awit Awardsは、 フィリピン・レコ-ド産業協会 （PARI : Philippine Association Of The Record Industry)が主催する フィリピンの代表的音楽アワードです。フィリピンの音楽アワードとしては最も歴史が古く、2012年11月27日で25年目を迎えました。

「Awit Awards / アウィット・アワード」の各カテゴリーの優勝者は、音楽関係者のみならず、業界関係者以外の者からの投票によって 決まります。

Awit Awardsの特徴は何といっても、とにかくカテゴリーが多いこと！　 結果、その年ごとに何らかの活躍をした音楽関係者全員に受賞が行き渡るのでは？と思うぐらい多い多い(^_^;
本当にいかにもフィリピンらしいなぁ、と思う音楽アワードです。
